Call for Proposals

The NELIG Winter Meeting is traditionally a chance to put theory into practice -- we spend a morning or afternoon sharing some of the ways we have translated what we know (and are learning!) about college students &  information literacy into our one-shot classroom visits.

Do you have a tried & true lesson plan that seems to work in almost any class visit?

Are you developing a new approach for a lesson and want a friendly audience to try it out?

Please consider submitting a proposal to the NELIG Instruction Swap. This is a low-stakes opportunity to present, get useful feedback from your peers, share your great ideas, and take a breath as the end of the Fall Semester is in sight.

See our program submission form for more details, including locations, times, formats, etc. We can't wait to see your tried-and-true, new, or creative lessons and ideas.

Email your questions and concerns to

Application Deadline: October 27, 2017 (late proposals will be accepted on an ad hoc basis)
